ADI 2018 Ion Analyser

ADI 2018 Ion Analyser

ADI_2018_HD_-_Front_View_-_Door_Open_x150_dpixThe ADI 2018 Ion Analyser is based on a Dynamic Standard Addition (DSA) method, using high precission burettes and high performance Ion Selective Electrodes. In DSA, the standard addition volume is adapted to the sample concentration by a dynamic differential approach. Moreover it takes into account ISE slope values over several ranges. This means that ISE's can be used to their ultimate low (or high) measuring range, which is mostly non-linear. Possible temperature effects on the analysis results are eliminated by an automated temperature measurement.
The analyser is suited for one or two sample streams and is also available in a stainless steel housing.

Features:

  • Dynamic Standard Addition with a burette gives unrivalled accuracy in ion applications
  • Wide range of approximately two and a half decades
  • Modularity
  • Automatic ISE calibration
  • Automatic temperature compensation
  • Low reagent usage
  • Intrinsic result validation, elimination of sample matrix effects
  • Analog (4-20 mA) outputs for result output
  • Digital in-and outputs for remote start/stop, alarms, etc.
  • Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) Measurements

A very common method of measuring specific ions in solution taking advantage of the Nernst equation. Care must be taken due to interferences, temperature/matrix effects and drift of electrodes when using ISE data. Applikon Analytical Ltd uses the patented Dynamic Standard Addition (DSA) method on all ISE measurements to remove all inaccuracies and validate each and every result as correct, giving confidence and reliability as standard. Among the long list of applications are: Sodium in high purity water, Potassium, Nitrate, Fluoride, Ammonia, etc.
